'Literally' when the speaker actually means 'metaphorically (in other words, the complete opposite of the word they used).

Yesterday that dippy presenter on BBC F1 said 'He literally drove off a cliff'. (Might have made the race a bit more interesting, I suppose.)

Misuse of the word literally grates with me too. I remember Denise Lewis commentating on the last night of the 2012 Olympics, "If Mo Farah completes the double tonight this crowd are quite literally gonna blow the roof off"
