I watched Django Unchained last night. It's from 2012 and by that Tarantino bloke but none the worse for all that. If you like a film with lots of blood and snot flying around, rent it.
Any other recent films worth the rental?

There are two films that are much loved by certain RT members..
These are genuine film titles..
The Button Pusher
The Reporter...
Enjoy...

I had a mate that would lend me DVD 'early releases'.
They were terrible, 'shot-from-the-back-of-the-cinema' ones. People coughing, getting up and walking in front of the camera, etc, etc. I'd much rather wait for an official release and watch them in all their pristine Blu-ray 7.1 glory.

Has anyone watched that new Caroline Aherne programme called Gogglebox - it's hilarious?

It's been out a few weeks..........I bought a copy yesterday £9.99 from Sainsburys....Entertaining film, but not brilliant in my opinion.
The Sweeney is good once you get used Ray Winstone playing the part of Jack Regan and the language, which is “ripe”

Went to watch Django at the cinema , ended up walking out 3/4 of the way through
He does seem to get a lot of good actors to work for him (Tarantino ) but it was a case of the "Emperors new clothes " to me , and any other director had made it , it would of got panned .
Tarantino is forever in the shadow of his early work (and co script writer Roger Avary ) ?
Last one I sat through was Kill Bill , and that was 2003 .

Angels' Share.
But you might need subtitles to translate from Glasgae-ish into English 😛
(Not joking, this was done when it was previewed in last year's Cannes Film Festival where it won a major award).
