This threads fast becoming depression corner, keep seeing it pop to the top and practically every story is someone I got great pleasure from watching or hearing. Mott the Hoople - wonderful band live, now Gorden Kaye, lovely man met him in a book shop in Manchester - no one else in the store, he signed my book and appeared such a quiet and gentle man. 'Au revoir René Artois'.

Thank you.

When I was a child, I always wanted a grandad with a beautiful voice to read me bedtime stories.  James Mason and Vincent Price were my two main choices.  If I was still a child, I would have added John Hurt.

She may have only been famous through her connections but it's still sad to hear of someone dying so young.
