Good for him! Much more worthwhile than all those Z-list 'celebrities' saying me-me-look-at-me-covered-with-iced-water.

I understand that flint-faced Mrs David Beckham has been involved. Apropos really for the Ice Queen. Though it's a pity it hadn't been a huge chunk, instead of ice cubes. Something in the shape of an ice-berg would have been good.

Not seen a single person, celeb or otherwise, say "me me look at me."

I have however heard that over £24,000,000 has been raised!

Don't knock it, anything done like this for a good cause is well worth it, All my kids have done it, and some of the older ones in their families.

It is just a bit of fun but all well meant and kind hearted. I however can't do it, I am too much of a wuss, to pour ice cold water over yourself or have someone else do if for you is really not that easy. xxx

Good on them I say.........xxxx

My eldest daughter and her boyfriend did it yesterday evening in our garden. My youngest daughter said..."I will just donate a few quid...much easier"....she is the smarter one.... Smiley LOL

Sir Patrick Stewart's response was pure class, and then the Palin woman tried to copy him, for heaven's sake - she couldn't come up with her own original thought - well, no change there then.

There have been some very funny challenges, and sadly not a few rather embarrasingly pathetic ones.
