A product i posted was listed as counterfeit

I am very new to eBay,  a product I have posted has been removed on the account of it being counterfeit.  I would not have sold if I believed it to be a counterfeit item .  I was not given a proper explanation as on what grounds it was removed.  Maybe the description stated needed to be changed but the brand is not fake . Is there any way I can challenge this ?

Once they remove an item its more or less impossible to get ebay to change their minds.   More info here:

If you bought the item new from a genuine outlet and still have the receipt you may have a chance but contacting ebay about it is not easy.

If the copyright holder complains to eBay about your item and says that it's fake, that's it... the item is removed.  I've read that even some items that are bought in outlet stores owned by the brand can be considered to be "fake" as they were made specifically for the outlet store and never intended to be sold at full high-end retail... though I personally have issues with this practice.  Sometimes eBay will suspend selling privileges  for listing counterfeit items, so consider yourself lucky if this didn't happen to you.  If you are certain that your item is genuine, you might consider selling it somewhere else.
