Crowds of chavs besieged a Wrexham 99p store when they thought it had a half-price sale, then reacted with "outrage" when they were told the goods had risen to full price.

The shoppers had a perfect right to be angry.

The fact that it was a 99p store is immaterial, what matters is that they were misled.

If it doesn't matter if customers are misled as long as it's not for much money, where would you put the price at which it starts to matter?
