eBay Basket Issue

I have an item for sale that customers need to purchase in multiples, but I'm experiencing an issue with a specific listing. Even though my quantity is set to 5,000 and is displayed as available, customers are unable to add more than 5 to their basket. If they do manage to add 5 and then try to update the quantity to a higher number, they receive a message saying that the requested quantity is not available. I have contacted eBay, and they have opened a technical issue regarding this, stating that it is a broader problem affecting other buyers as well. This issue has persisted for over two weeks now. Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

@laserplatesupplies  I read of a similar issue a couple of weeks ago when someone reported that they were unable to pay for 10 items from the same seller which they had in their basket; whether the two reports are linked I know not but it does seem highly coincidental.
