Can you confirm if the payment section works fine too? 

When I try to get into that it also gives technical difficulties when it requests to login.

I just had the same problem with my new phone and found out the app didn't have any permissions allowed on the phone. 

So I went in to settings - > Apps - > eBay

and allowed the required permissions. 

Now it works.

Try to clear the storage, apply the permissions and then refresh the home page on the app (scroll down from the top of the screen). The error message should disappear and content should be available. Then you'll be able to log in.

I have same problem. Using phone oneplus 9 pro and ebay app stopper about week ago. Can't log in and can't even search items even as quest.

Looks like it's finally fixed.

Using ebay app version 6.189.1.2 release December 20th 2024.

Don't get the error of "technical difficulties" anymore when logging in or accessing the payment section.
