Hi I have paid for an item and want to arrange collection as requested but am unable to send message after clicking contact seller

You will only be able to exchange contact details once you have paid

eBay block messages that exchange contact details until payment has been made

I have paid for the item but it still won't let me contact the seller.

Sometimes it can take up to 24 hours for status to update so better to try again tomorrow.If you keep trying now you may be blocked.

I'm taking it that "collection in person" was an option offered by the seller and not just something seller said in description.
