How do I make a complaint to eBay?

I sold a computer to someone who paid me in counterfeit notes. I want to contact ebay to see if they are able to get his details, though I doubt it because the account was only two weeks old.

I am not sure how the buyer was able to pay you in counterfeit notes.    To my knowledge even if the item is a collection in person one Ebay will not allow the buyer to have your address until they have paid for the item through Ebay.

Ebay do not allow cash to be used for purchases.

If someone paid you in cash then you broke Ebay's rules,  why should they then help you?

If someone sold an item whilst still on EBay. Was paid money the day before the item was removed from the post, I concider this to be a breech of EBay rules. EBay has not put a miss sold item in lace

Dear eBay Customer Service,

I am writing to formally appeal a recently closed refund case regarding an item I purchased.

I ordered 937XL Ink Cartridges Replacement for HP 937XL/937e/937 Multipack. However, the item I received is not the correct product that I ordered. I opened a return/refund request immediately after discovering the issue, but the seller closed the case without resolving the matter. I have not received a refund.

This situation is not due to any fault on my part. The seller sent the wrong item, and I should not be responsible for paying for a product that does not match my order.

I respectfully request that eBay review this case under the eBay Money Back Guarantee and issue a full refund. I am happy to provide photos of the item received and any additional information required.

This thread is not a hotline to ebay customer services,  they won't see your post.

Did you comply with all the money back guarantee terms,  including time limits, and open the right case (item not as described)?

If there is an appeal option it would be accessed via the case.

Looks like you opened either the wrong case or opened it too late,  that is, after 30 days had lapsed the item's last estimated date for delivery.  Those would be the only 2 reasons a seller could close a case for item not as described.

Only Customer Services can view the case details and explain what has happened for you, perhaps help with a refund contact them.

I strongly recommend contacting CS 8 a.m. on a weekday when the lines open for ' live agents' as then, there's more chance of Dublin answering.

This is the easiest and quickest way to contact eBay Customer Services, for a Call Back option.

There isn't an email that is published for complaints.

If you are receiving books you didn't order - what is it that indicates they are from ebay?

Are they to your address? And your name? Is there anything in the parcels that indicates a seller in particular? Its not ebay who are sending the books - as ebay don't sell anything themselves - it will be a seller on ebay that the issue is with.

It could be someone is using your address as a return address (normally an overseas seller). 

But to answer your question - there is not a direct complaints email to ebay.

I don't deal. With ebay anymore theirs no protection for buyers they not
interested making to much money.

Hello Martin,

Sellers are allowed to sell empty perfume bottles as long as it is clear in their description and listed as used. You would be better to search using the 'new' tab.

Sellers should not list used, part bottles of perfume as this is against their policy.

This is not Ebay answering you. This is a discussion boards for buyers and sellers.

If you have bought a bottle and it is not as described, you can open a case for a full refund and the seller will need to send you a return postage label.

You are speaking to members like yourself here,  not to eBay,  but we probably can help you if you give us a few more details.

Are you returning an item for a refund?  What is the reason for the return.

Are you requesting a cancellation request, what's the reason for this, bearing in mind sellers can refuse this request.

Please come back and explain what has happened,  then I'm sure someone can help you.
