Re: complaints

The problem is that the parcel was so badly damaged when you delivered it that only 1 item arrived, so Evri are at fault

Re: complaints

I have asked the seller for a refund on the same day but the seller said he doesn’t do return.

Re: complaints

Are you saying it is impossible for me to get my money back?

Re: complaints

You bought the sunglasses from a private seller who does not accept returns.

You have also left them positive feedback.

The best thing for you to do is to resell them.

You also cannot name the seller on a public forum.

Re: complaints

Try making a claim via the company financing your purchase

Re: complaints

Presumably payment would have been made via a credit organisation of
some sort - Gpay or similar. Try that route via their claims system.

Re: complaints

???    So you paid for a car by Bank transfer before you actually saw it and made sure it actually existed?

Re: complaints

I have previously bought a car, before viewing on eBay, going on the
seller's post, as I would imagine most buyers have in this instance, I also
bought on trust ON EBAY. Although my bank transfer was sent whilst the car
was STILL on eBay. The response from eBay was that the seller had taken the
car off the listing before I bought the car, rendering it a private sale.
Ebay did not even want to look at my proof and palmed it off.
So in finality, why did eBay not charge the seller within their rules, IE.
selling whilst still on a posting, in fact deleting a post after a sale was
completed

Re: complaints

Ebay make it clear in their policies that they provide absolutely no buyer protection for vehicle purchases.  They also do nothing about dishonest sellers or fraudulent vehicle listings.

Paying for a vehicle should only be done after seeing the vehicle and carrying out checks on it.   If you pay by bank transfer without seeing the vehicle and doing the checks,  then you may well simply be giving money away to a dishonest seller.  Most buyers would not do that.

Re: complaints

They still have to abide by Trading Standards Laws of the country who is hosting their online services.

They have laws they have to follow despite whatever contract they write stating otherwise..

Re: complaints

so anyone on Ebay (bidding) is advised not to participate if the vehicle is
a couple of days away?
I have had cars for sale myself on ebay, but being as I consider myself to
be honest, I have sold without the buyer viewing, ie I am in Essex have
sold to France Scotland and Ireland. No problem
