Re: Won an appeal for my listing

Hi

What is the item that you keep trying to sell???

Usually once an item is removed Ebay do not restore it as its been flagged by their system.   I would not keep trying to relist as this could result in sanctions being imposed by Ebay on your account.

Re: Won an appeal for my listing

I have just had a quick look at your sold listings.

Firstly from my investigation.........Tostrone Testosterone appears to be a banned product on Ebay as its prescription only

Secondly your Libre 2 items also appear to be a prohibited item on the site as they are classed as a medical product.

Is it similar items that keep being taken down?

Re: Won an appeal for my listing

That item number comes up with nothing as its been removed?

Yes there may be others listed on the site.     BUT if they are prohibited then they should not be being sold on the site.     The others have probably not, as yet, been reported to Ebay.

Ok my first information was based on Google.

According to Ebays help section.....

You can sell a Libre 2 device on eBay only if it complies with the medical devices policy:

  • The device must be an over-the-counter (OTC) medical device that does not require a prescription.
  • It must have a valid UKCA/CE mark issued by the manufacturer.
  • The listing must include information such as the UKCA/CE mark and the number of the Approved Body or Notified Body that issued the certificate.
  • The device must not be expired and must comply with all applicable laws and eBay policies.

Medical devices that require a prescription or are not UKCA/CE marked cannot be sold. Also, medical equipment that could be abused for unlawful means is not permitted.

For full details, see the medical devices and equipment policy.

A prescription is required for a lot of these items.

Re: Won an appeal for my listing

just because listings are for sale - doesn't mean they are allowed under ebay policy.

in short - if they are prescription only - then they should not be listed.
