Unable to list items from ebay app

Anyone else in the uk having this problem when trying to list items from the ebay app? Never had this before until today. I usually list all my items from the app but today ive been getting the error "your listing looks great so far, but a detour is required for items in this category "

I agree its past a joke ebays fees are high for sellers and the app wont let you list items so paying high fees and not being able to use the service Sent from my Galaxy

And when you do list the long way you it doesn't load the pictures or you miss bits so items sell alot cheaper than normal.

Keep messaging the eBay advisors on here or phone them.more noise we make more chance of them actually looking in to issue .be heading for a month now.

No updates. Just the usual spiel about the website being a workaround.
Coming up on 4 weeks and still no time frame. Pathetic.

The car parts category works fine for private sellers just not business as I have both and the private account is working fine

Today new update have come out but issue is still present.  At this point dont really see much point from app as you cant do much with it and beats point of it. Utter *bleep*.

There was new ebay update patch in play store but looks like they havent solved issue for buisness users.

Just installed the latest update. Still can't list or modify listings in
the vehicle parts and accessories category without being redirected to the
web browser. What the actual [____]??

Come on ebay this really is rediculous i dont really post on here much but i am fed up with this now i usually list 10 items a day now im barely managing 3 as its really time consuming

Nothing new to add but just wanted to add my voice here. Same issues for me - App doesn't work for me. No longer supported but can't download the new version. I'm running Android 11 but have never been overawed by technology and just have a Motorola E20. Don't really want to be upgrading a phone for the sake of one App, so I've deleted it.

Come on eBay. Why is this post not on the first page . Do they want to hide the fact they are doing nothing to rectify the problem. 1 month almost. I want eBay to send us a like to a video showing us exactly how easy it is to list a large amount of items a day using desktop link. We are lucky we sell in a few categories.but have pallets of car stock. Will end up sending them to auction and cut my losses at this rate.

This problem is only for business sellers as my private account works fine listing car parts

Is it possible to have an actual factual update. How many people are working on this issue if any. I can't revise 900 of my listings.with old stock this is only way to get stuff sold. Or should I just take listing off of eBay and sell elsewhere.if this is the case we will end up closing everything. We sell close to £60000 of stock every year. eBay get around £20000 in fees . And all we get is a template update saying you are working on problems. 1 month to resolve an issue they created. And not even an apology or refund. This is really getting ridiculous.

It's a joke now this is.. it works fine on my personal account listing parts I even signed in to my business account on that phone and straight away web browser pops up so this shows its only affects business sellers

Mental so basically they are not interested in helping there business clients who pay there wages. Is it possible to set up a personal account linked to same business bank account . And do listings auto relist at end of month as I'm sure they never used to. If ebay international shipping works I will probly go down this route .but have 800 existing listings so can't be bothered redoing them

Same here. I've about 1200 active listing's that I can't modify. Strangely
enough it will let me promote them, (earning ebay even more fees for my
work) Seriously tempted to close my business account.

Ok so another week and no update its now getting to the point where they should be giving us money back for the amount we're losing

Fair chance this isnt getting sorted. eBay adviser is no longer replying saying they are working on it. Strange why this post isnt on first page on discussions . Seems like all getting swept under carpet. I have loads of items in my store ready to list but am not doing them at 5 min each.
