Unable to list items from ebay app

Anyone else in the uk having this problem when trying to list items from the ebay app? Never had this before until today. I usually list all my items from the app but today ive been getting the error "your listing looks great so far, but a detour is required for items in this category "

When have ebay ever been interested in their sellers 🙄 2 weeks since this
problem was brought to their attention. No acknowledgement, no updates, and
no solution. We'll be lucky if they sort it. There'll be no apology, and
anybody thinking of any form of compensation is dreaming. Prove me wrong
ebay.

They will once they start noticing less items being listed and sold. I was offered a large amount of car spares this week.decided not to buy as have no idea how long they would be sitting in my store before I can list them

Hi 3 weeks now. No updates . No sellers on eBay using app can list items in car or vehicles listings. Is this going to be repaired ow will we start looking for an other selling platform as we have over 1000 items we can revise and have potential to have hundreds of new items to list in these categories. Please update everyone. If nothing is going to be done we will have to move elsewhere . My business alone sells around 20 thousand pounds a year in vehicle parts. Can we have solution from eBay this week or we will force to close down vehicle side of eBay business.total joke

Hi @stuartgordonltd ,

I completely understand the urgency of getting this resolved. Our technical team is currently working on a fix, and while I don't have a specific timeline from them just yet, I will provide an update on these threads as soon as I hear back. In the meantime, you can still list items by using a web browser on your phone or desktop. Although it may not be your usual workflow, it is a workaround to keep your stock active.

Hi yes we have been doing it.takes 4 times longer so not an option. Thanks for reply. Must be a lot of people in same boat . Tried downloading old version but it won't work properly either. Guess we will just have a few quite weeks ahead. Thanks

Enough of this stupid talk, we are losing thousands of pounds and you are doing nothing, we will demand compensation and an apology, I am currently contacting a lawyer and we will start a court case, enough of this

Ive given up trying to list items as the website browser version can be very confusing.

Ive got stock piling up and nothing going out ebay your always on our case when we owe you money but taking the *bleep* when it comes to us sort it out.

Exactly same.they deleted half my messages yesterday as they don't like hearing the truth. Hopefully someone will start up a basic no nonsense site to rival them.

Total waste of time. I got old app installed it won't work on phone. Did it slow way using eBay classic side they send you to. Did 2 listings .just finished and noticed no pictures on listings. Revised and same again. What a total waste of time. They won't give an apology never mind any sort of compensation. In fact more likely to restrict our accounts for complaining on here. You can't win

Any updates. Have been doing a few listings as advised using link. Takes 4 times as long. Not worth doing the listings any more for all the profit left when it sells. But more annoying. When viewing the new listings then photos aren't loading.just blank . And due to app not working I can revise to redo photos.  Is there a sensible way around this if they aren't going to fix the actual issue. Must be thousands off sellers in same boat. What exactly are we supposed to do with all new stock sitting waiting for non helpfully updates. Please reply thanks

Still no update on this situation i cant even upload pictures now when it takes you to the website from the app pics dont load and it takes an age to complete 1 listing where as in the app takes less than a minute what the hell is going on ???????Sent from my Galaxy

I had same issue. If u get older ebay version its not a problem. Some lad

Another day of no updates this is stupid now ebay I spent nearly 2 hour yesterday to list like 5 things its a total nightmare even then half the photos failed to update.

We have tried the old version and it worked for a few days then doesn't work properly or in my case locked me out completely.

This has to be a breach of consumer rights. Business sellers are paying for
a service that is no longer practical to use.
