Hello,
I am trying to send a recent purchase back to the seller as it is faulty. I have requested help from eBay and the seller has agreed to refund the product. EBay has sent me a link to “print the labels” for the return however when I click the link I get ‘something went wrong’ message. Can anyone advise how to correct this so I can get some seller details to send faulty goods back ?

If you receive an item/s 'Not as described', (ie. faulty) use this link to open an official return case within 30 days from receipt for a full refund --- escalate to eBay after 4 complete days and follow the case instructions carefully. >

Make sure you are not signed in to a different eBay account than the one you used to make the original purchase.
If you purchased as a guest, first sign out of this eBay account before using the link in the email that eBay sent regarding the guest order.

However i purchased the item as a guest but to get help from eBay on returns I needed to set up an account. So now when I press the ‘print return label’ link on the email it sends me to a sign in page first and the only option is to sign in before moving on to the desired page. When I log in it shows the ‘something went wrong’ message.
Sign out of your current eBay account, then use the link in the email. Or open a private or incognito browser window where you are not signed in to eBay, and then open the link in that browser window.
