Setting default search settings

Does anyone know how to set the default search location? Every time I search for something, I have pull up the filters and change to "U.K.". I don't search for the same items every time, so can't set a saved search. Thanks! Tracy

So frustrating, I've accientally bought from China a couple of times now and have to wait weeks for delivery...  come on Ebay allow us to set defaults!

Yo ebay!!!.... make this a global option and not a "per search" option... im sick of seeing chinese and japanese  in search results.

I wish there were site preferences that could be used for the desktop version ( for location and search format), it would make life easier for me.  After every search I'm having to change location to the UK and frequently having to switch from gallery to list view which I prefer.

Fantastic !  I got on to eBay many years ago, asking if they can do something, so i can ONLY search UK .. instead of EVERY TIME , have to go to box and 'Tick' UK ONLY .. I just installed the Desktop PC 'App' works Great .. Ive waited many many years for this ... so much easier, and saves me ticking box every time, Thanks for Help !

Last couple of weeks on Ebay phone app when I lock search to UK ONLY using LOCKABLE FILTERS it just changes back to DEFAULT search after I have looked at 2 or 3 items. I then have to change it back to UK ONLY then it goes back to DEFAULT search.

Is this happening to anyone else? Thanks for reading.

If you are happy with your default settings, there is no need to change anything.

I think the whole web app is wrong and have tried the lap top it offers nothing different,  It has a few major errors on the way it lists items, I have sent them the feedback twice now…ain’t putting anything else on until they come back to me..

Re: My Post .. I use the 'App' the whole time, and sets 'Search' to my choice of UK ( Works 100% fine on my Desktop / Android Phone .. I dont know why your having issues ...

I have problems listing items not looking for items as in cannot sell anything without it saying collection in person with the service chosen for post..
