Selling problem

Helllo

I had a problems as a first time seller and held the auction first time. 2 days before the auction finished I sold it privately to someone else and tried to cancel the auction on ebay but it didn't cancel and now the buyer has cancelled the order and asked for a refund. I tried to redund it but as a first time seller the ebay has put my payment on hold so refund becomes unsuccessful. The buyer is furious and threatening to take legal action. I submitted many reports to ebay but I am not getting any replies. Also, it's been a week so ebay is not refunding the amount to the buyer even though the order is cancelled. How should I approach this, please someone help. I am really in a pickle here and annoyed that even though it's not my fault. I tried reporting as technical problems but ebay is not helpful at all. Please 😭

If you had read your user agreement you might have seen that items placed on this site are EXCLUSIVE to the site owners.Adverising elsewhere is a policy breach and can often end in tears,as you are experiencing.

If i were your buyer i would also be fuming 😤

I haven't advertised anywhere else officially. One of my relative and
friend bought it sending me a message privately. Also, putting up for
selling any item, there is a an option that comes first that share your
listing. So sharing my listing to my friends and family is an option which
I did. I did not breach any rules. If you can't offer me a solution for
this, it's better that you keep your opinions to yourself.

For your friends and family to purchase it via eBay, you sold it off eBay which is a policy breach.

You sound really nice - not.  When you get your first negative hopefully you won't be able to list again and waste people's time.

I very much appreciate the help from krafty-kreations. Thankyou so much. It
was just about my debit card which bank was not accepting for the refund.
Please ignore the message below. That is not for you. I really appreciate
the link and your help from the bottom of my heart.

Wowww, community is very inhumane. Is it just the community in name. Do any
of you don't have anything to do and just messaging here to point fingers.
Please do not waste your breath on me. As a human I expected a respected
behavior and friendly help, I am saying again as a 'HUMAN'. Really people
just need a topic to fight and point fingers at. I am not some 1 year old
baby to teach me how to walk, so if someone new comes to point fingers
please know you are wasting your breath and oxygen.
