Saved Search Android app bug - Results already read showing again immediately

The eBay Android application exhibits an issue where saved searches, configured to display only new listings, consistently include previously viewed items, even following selecting the "mark all as read" function.

This is still an ongoing issue for me in the UK. 

Have uninstalled and reinstalled the app but still no solution on Samsung TabS7 or Samsung S23+

Mark all as read is having no effect, individually viewing items sometimes means they disappear from new search, but sometimes they just continue to appear as a new result.

Problem is still ongoing, ebay are you going to fix the problem?

Here's my rough summary of the app behaviour

In the New results only page:-

- The mark all results as read button clears the pages, but the search results just reappear upon saved search refresh

- If there is one result for a search, then that item will disappear from search results once viewed

- if there is more than one result for a search, then viewing an item does not remove it from the new searches once refreshed

If the searches are viewed in the "all results", ie list page, then they do disappear from the new search results upon refresh

The latest update 6.215.0.4 permanently cleared the "new" search results from my feed when I installed it, but when I got new search results after the update the "mark all results are read" button cleared them l but then they just reappeared after a search refresh.  So no solution
