SIMPLE DELIVERY LABEL UNREADABLE

Have printed SIMPLE DELIVERY LABELS before. They were never perfect but they were readable.

Today, on order number 20-13681-44767 made six attempts to print a readable label without success.

Have posted untracked using postage stamps.

Please refund the buyer the price of SIMPLE DELIVERY. Meanwhile SIMPLE DELIVERY claims that I have posted it with tracking. I have not.

I am really quite angry after eBay has made me waste paper and time to print a label that is totally unreadable.

Do you know that you can list your £20 and under item with Custom Postage instead of Simple Delivery? To do this list as normal, make sure Simple Delivery is selected for 'Large Letter' size, then Custom Postage option should appear (which you can use instead for any size/weight).

Back to this particular SD issue. When the Buyer pays, unused SD labels will be automatically refunded within 30 days.

Your untracked stamps work around is fine, your payment will be released eventually as long as it arrives safely. You indicated to eBay you sent tracked when you tried to print the SD label, but without a new tracking number to substitute there is no way to change this that I know of. Just ignore it.

Well done for getting the item into the post despite the problem with the label.

Can I check the issue that the the printing was showing to make it unreadable?

Were you getting white gaps in the print or fuzzy edges, or something else?

The labels generated are nothing special - just pdf files with text and lines in them which should print fine with just black ink.  

Presumably you have printed other things and perhaps a test page to check for blocked nozzles or slipping page advance - did they look ok?

Could you please confirm if this would be the label not being generated properly? As in when you see it digitally you can't read it or is it after it being printed that you cannot read it? If you confirm the item number, I can take a further look for you no problem.
