Rejecting Listing Photos that DO meet minimum requirements & other recent glitches/bugs.

Any chance we can actually get a functioning site to use anytime soon?

Today's inconvenience is that I'm getting a photo error when trying to upload certain items.  'The resolution for provided picture(s)  does not meet eBay's Picture policy requirements. Please only use pictures that are at least 500 pixels on the longest side.'

The smallest picture I am trying to use is:  1600 x 283 pixels.

So, it seems contrary to the error message, the system is rejecting the picture by applying the 500 pixel rule to the SHORTEST side, rather than the LONGEST. I've used the exact same pictures continuously for well over 10 years, so NOTHING I've done to create the problem.

Last weekend, apparently there was a breakdown in communication between Royal Mail's address database and ebay's shipping facilities leading to some addresses being rejected as 'Not recognised', mine included, with the inevitable barrage of 'ebay says your address is fake, stop scamming me' emails from people I'd bought things from. At least that issue seemed to be quickly rectified only lasting a few hours.

Before that my 'view order details' page wasn't resolving properly in Firefox on Win 10, coming through as an almost undecipherable clutter stretching forever down the left hand margin. That seems to have finally been resolved sometime this last week, after being an issue for the previous couple of weeks at least.

Finally, ebay's search has been unusable in Firefox on Win 10 now for most of this month, the same old issue that's reared its head multiple times previously over many years. Search results only partially download, then hang, and hang, and hang, often for as much as 5 minutes before finally downloading fully, and even then scrolling down them is sticky and jumpy. It just doesn't work if, like me, you're wanting to run multiple searches numerous times daily and add/remove filters each time.

Honestly, ebay charge enough to use the site, it's no wonder people, both buyers and sellers look elsewhere rather than fight with and waste endless time on malfunctions that as a rule take a long time to be addressed, and as often as not recur again and again over time.
