Pricing options missing on inventory listing templates

The listing pricing section (price/quantity/vat rate) is showing blank on all our ebay inventory listing templates this morning (on multiple browsers/PCs).

Image below shows the normal pricing section above and below shows the blank space that we now have!

Anyone else having this issue?

Yes, other Sellers are reporting this glitch on the M2M Support page.

The reason will probably be because they're working on this issue: Unable To List From Inventory For Over A Month - UK eBay Community where it has been impossible to submit listings that were already saved in the inventory since the start of July - because they'd wrongly added a private seller's "Buyer will pay" box. Hopefully they might get it back to functioning soon.

hi @rainbowtrax , Thanks for your reply. I did notice the 'buyer will pay' box appearing a few times but it hasn't stopped us submitting listings from our product inventory.

Not being able to input price/quantity due to the section now being blank does though!

I only wish the ebay programmers could fix the multiple glitches as quickly as they create them!

Absolutely. Weird that it's still been letting you list. We've been unable to list anything from the inventory since the start of July because the stupid "Buyer will pay" box, which is not relevant to business sellers so shouldn't be there, throws up an error and stops the submission - whether you leave it blank or fill it in. It's wasted so many hours for us and is driving me mad as it drags on and on.

I definitely feel your pain @rainbowtrax !

Since the 1st July this year if we select a postage rate table from an inventory listing template then we can't then submit the listing due to error:

'System error. Unable to process your request. Please try again later.'

Also the selected ebay shop categories always default to 'Other' category when saving the template since July 2023 which has also still not been fixed!

Someone at ebay really has been destructively tampering with the inventory listings in the past couple of years.

We are currently having to use draft listings which is obviously useless for when we get the same item back in to stock in the future.

The inventory has been one of the few genuine benefits to featured and anchor shop subscriptions but since they stopped giving it to new shop subscribers a couple of years ago they certainly seem to be hellbent on destroying it without actually officially removing it. I think they probably hoped that we'd all just give up on it and go away quietly.

kat@ebay I'm just tagging you here as hopefully you can add these two issues to the same ticket. One of them seems to have started at the same time while the other is older.

@partsdepot_uk what happens if you submit the listing even though you've got a blank space where the price should be? I've just tried one and it let me submit it and the price went through as the price that was originally on the inventory template. I just couldn't see it until the listing was live.

For me, this is an improvement as I couldn't list at all before!

I then tried one with a rate table set and that wouldn't go through until I removed the rate table so I also have that issue as well.

For templates saved before today the price/quantity originally inputted is shown when listed despite the pricing options being blank.

We obviously now cannot create new inventory templates as there is now a blank space where the pricing options should be!

Same problem here with the missing price and quantity.  About 50 50 with whether the categories will default to "other" or show the correct one, gave up on ebay support trying to fix that a long time ago sadly 😞

@partsdepot_uk  as rainbowtrax mentioned we have an ongoing ticket with tech for the buyer will pay box in the inventory listings. I will share the example you have provided of the pricing options being blank with tech so it can be looked into.
