I haven't been able to make a new listing or revise one for almost 2 weeks. Need Help

Hi all, 

First time poster so I apologise if this in the wrong section. 

As title suggests I can not make any new listings or revise any existing listings without getting a "global error" page with the URL "undefined:XS_CALL_ERROR". This has been going on for almost 2 weeks and support hasn't fixed the issue. 

What i've tried: 

I have contacted ebay twice, once on chat once over the phone. First time I was told the issue would be fixed in 72 hours and that it was a technical issue on ebays end. After 3 days I got nothing back so I called, they told me the same thing and that it will be fixed in 72 hours from the call. Its now been an additional 72 hours and the problem still hasn't been fixed. 

I have tried to list and revise on both mobile and desktop, clearing cache on chrome, logging in on a different browser and logging in on the US version of ebay.  The closest I can get is some times getting onto the revision page but then get an error when hitting save. 

I really need to get this issue solved as its effecting my sales. Any advise would be great.

It sounds like you've done everything I can think of, but hopefully someone will be along with some more idea's. 

Regarding to ebay customer services, ignore them, they are the ultimate in b/s, they're empowered to do it and they do it well.  If they were in a b/s competition they'd win first prize.

Yeah just a shame. I've never had an issue on ebay like this until now. Just frustrating as I have stock ready to go. 😞

Could you please confirm if this is still happening to you? If so, is it happening sometimes only, or does it happen every single time when you try to list an item?

Yes this is still happening. 

I get the error 99% of the time as soon as I hit new listing, revise listing or sell similar.  Very occasionally I can get to the listing details but once I hit the submit button I get the error and none of the changes are made.

I'd be happy to help you with this one, could you just confirm if this happens in the middle of the listing flow, or at the very end when you click submit to put the listing live? Also, could you please confirm what kind of items are you trying to list? Could you please confirm as well if this is happening with listings you start from scratch or from drafts or both?

Hi there,

This happens 99% of the time at the start of the listing, I cant even get to the title phase. When I can get past this I get the error when I submit to make the listing live. This happens for both drafts, live listings and brand new listings. 

Most of my listings are for collectables, it happens for everything I list including figures, metal brooches and wallets.

Any updates on this? I still cant revise my listings and its becoming a problem because I can't change quantities when I sell something on another platform.

No major updates so far. However, I can confirm that they were able to replicate of the issue, so they're now working to get that resolved for you. I do understand that it is taking longer than expected, but once it is sorted, I will reply back here to let you know.

It's been over a month now with this same issue. I'm aware its not your fault but could I please have a realistic time frame? Is it just worth trying to start a new ebay shop?

Updated to a business account to see if that fixes anything. It has not. It's been over a month now this is really unfair considering I haven't done anything wrong.
