So, there is now a Shop Similar section below each item that has ended and it is annoying to say the least!

Does anyone know how to get rid of it?

I am quite capableof searching for what I want. And about 90% of the 'similar' items it displays are no where near similar.

It makes looking through the list far more difficult, less user friendly, far more cluttered, and if anything is making me less likely to look at anything as it's not related to what I was looking at.

It's just another 'improvement' that no one seemed to ask for and as far as I can tell, no one wants!!

Is there any way to get rid of it, or somewhere we can complain?

If you use an ad blocker that allows custom rules, try adding this line to your ruleset:

www.ebay.co.uk##DIV[class="stream-slot"]

I used to regularly 'clean up' my eBay watching list pages by deleting all ended items which had been re-listed. This latest 'shop similar' makes the pages so cluttered. So I won't be bothering any more. Well done eBay. Something else that you've managed to **** up.

It’s a feature to make eBay more money, not to actually be more convenient for the buyer. If it were a true convenience feature, it would have an opt out option.

Complain – yeah, that’s what I think this forum is for. Ha ha. No one at eBay is going to care about your complaint.
For getting rid of it, as others have suggested, browser extensions are really the only way. I use one in particular for searches – it defaults to UK only. Without it I just wouldn’t use eBay. I got sick and tired of seeing foreign items that cost 4x in postage than the actual item! I still get fooled with the sponsored and recommended ones where it hides this until you click on it!
