I bought an item which advertised Free postage. when I bought the item I was then told to collect only.

I have complained and had the advert removed. I specifically checked lower down onto the details and saw no ''collection only'' which I have clearly seen in other ads. I cannot get to see the original ad (as ads are routinely removed after purchase) Ebay have taken this up and the seller has no contact for two days (he has one more)

It is obvious he is ignoring me.

what are my chances of money back-will he be  banned

You need to cancel the order to get your money back, banned no probably corporal punished but not banned.

You can still use the money back guarantee to make a claim for item not received and get your money back.
