Count yourself lucky @chris3zjk - I get 5 emails from eBay every time I buy something: order confirmation, 'The seller is packing your order' (how the h*ll do eBay know that?), order dispatched, order out for delivery and order delivered. Add to that the duplicate emails I get from the courier company and I get a total of 10 emails every time I buy something. It's absolutely ridiculous.
And I can't leave a comment using the "How useful is this email?" link because eBay only allows one response per day. eBay can send a tsunami of pointless emails which duplicate couriers' emails but only allow a single comment per day to be left in response. Brilliant.
As for your issue, it would really help if you could mention whether you're using the App or a desk/laptop. If it's the App try reinstalling it; if it another device you could try a reboot, clearing cache and cookies or try another browser (eBay doesn't always code everything successfully for every browser).
First thing to do though would be to check the Communication Preferences on your Account - eBay have a habit of messing about with settings for no reason at all and they just might have messed about with yours.
