Delay in delivery of the order

My order was delayed in delivery and I chose the express shipping option. How can I make it arrive quickly? Unfortunately, customer service cannot be contacted.

The only contact you need to make is with your seller

eBay cannot help you, you did not buy from eBay

The seller cannot make it arrive any faster if they have already posted it

You will just have to be patient and wait for your item to arrive.

Delivery estimates are just that, ESTIMATES. They are not a guarantee of when the item will arrive, and you need to factor in the sellers stated dispatch time and add that to the time it takes for the item to be delivered.

Your item is coming from the USA, so will be stopped by customs for checking, and depending on the  value, they may also require you to pay import VAT and possibly import duty (if you did not already pay this at checkout), as you are importing an item from overseas. 

So the item will be delayed at customs, and will take a while to get here from overseas.

Yes you are very right ,on the royal mail website it does say our delivery dates are estimates not gaurantee . But I sent an item on 28th of Jan tracked 24 and it still just says item dispatched so obviously the royal mail never scanned the item from word go ,so the new payment system with Ebay is going to be a nightmare .

eBay's delivery "estimates" are even worse

They don't take into account weekends or bank holidays

Parcels rarely arrive by eBays estimated delivery dates as couriers simply do not work the way eBay "estimate" they will 

Buyers are mislead by eBay estimated delivery dates and this has been a problem for a while. Buyers think they will get their items fast, but this is not what happens, as couriers don't deliver to the timescales stated by eBay

Take all delivery estimates with a big pinch of salt!

 I have had several items not received cases opened against me because of Ebays time lines ,and more annoying is the fact that the buyer didn't contact me first so that I could explain the situation to them and then once the buyer received the item I still had to wait a few more days until Ebay released the money unless the buyer closed the case before .

Some of mine are being delayed as they’re second class, others have gone walkies in Newcastle upon Tyne’s RM Hub. I sent two items tracked 48 buyer complained and said it was my fault that it had disappeared
