Hi M tks for your help. I had a computer crash, to boot (no intended irony!) Any way, I had tried several combinations of uploading text and pictures plus the description that you gave, all failed to get results. Being in a hurry, I sent the photos and message txt via the Ebay My Messages app. and that solved my problem. Ebay actually mentions that when performing picture uploads, there could be difficulties.
