Just before Christmas 2024. I purchased a power bank. It seems good value. There were discount codes to also apply the Cost making the cost to me £232.78 eBay added VAT making the purchase cost £284.28. adding £51.50 VAT. This even takes it over the eBay Price Guarantee!! Price elsewhere about £264 . There seems to be absolutely no way to notify eBay of their error. VERY DISSAPOINTED. Been a long time member. Perhaps now I need to look around for another platform. Shame as its been good for me to re-cycle by items and to purchase good value items , but if cheaper on Amazon or other platforms. NO more eBay purchases....... Guess this is a Technical issue - 😞 Perhaps The eBay Ai is just not that smart. Can't handle eBay balance, top-up- payment, and voucher codes all at the same time. So randomly adds VAT 😞
