Cant log in via Firefox

Hope someone can help me.. Used Ebay for over 12 years. Always on FIrefox with no issues..couple days ago while just clicking my ebay it logged me out and asked me to log in again..and I can't! I put my username in but nothing happens when I click the 'Continue' Button' I've tried all the usual, cleared cookies, cache, hard reset. Its strange I can access all of Ebay as normal but without being logged in the moment I click to log in the Blue button will NOT let me continue. Fortunately I'm now logged in on the same PC through Chrome. But its annoying as I use FF as my main and 1st choice browser. Anyone have any clues as to what happened and to solve it. Already looked every where on web and I can't find any answers to my issue anywhere!

Thanks

Cant log in via Firefox

It is due to feeBay not updating older software & systems.

The payments page on older safari machines is unresponsive.  Older iPads don't let me use the app.

So I also use an older chrome browser to login and get paid.  No idea how long this will work for.

What version number of Firefox are you using?

Can you sign in using a private browser window in Firefox? Or if you disable add-ons?

Or if you use a different link to sign in?

Ditto to the above - check that your version of Firefox is up to date.   There is a key root security certificate (used to verify digitally signed content, protected media, and add-ons) that expired today (Friday 21st March) and versions earlier than either FF 128, or the Extended Support Release version 115.13 will start to cause various problems as a result.

Updating to a version later than either of those above should resolve an problems resulting from the certificate expiry.

I don't think it is an issue with Firefox generally as that is the browser that I use (ESR 115.20), and I have signed in without any issues on two occasions this evening.

Your problem could of course be simply because ebay currently appears to be very broken - huge number of threads from people experiencing a wide variety of serious problems with a wide range of aspects of ebay.
