Everything used to be fine last Summer/Autumn. Now I can't see any preview or pop up boxes - to explain what the new layout does - as they show nothing but empty space. Wan't to actually see what the postage is, before committing.
Bottom line: I'm not willing to use any other browser. If it can't be fixed, no sweat, I'll simply not sell. Not a biggie, but would've cleared my place out a bit.

Brave is based on Chrome, but there's also a more 'pure' form of Chrome available. That's an option for next time. Thanks again 🙂

Are you using the latest version of Brave? Any difference if you use a private or incognito version of a Brave browser window? Or if you disable add-ons?

Hi there
Yes, I managed to get the items up on eBay for selling. I did disable the single extension I'm using and also disabled 'shields' for eBay. Didn't help.
Somehow the preview began working, but think I had to go about viewing it differently than before, or nothing would show. Can't remember exactly what I did.
I'm using a rolling release Linux distro, so all programs will be as up to date as possible; more up to date than other popular Linux distros.
The 'delete all you cookies' advice I now steer clear of. It causes so much frustration for me further down the line.
Whatever, I'll carry on like this, but there are definitely issues with Brave browser. Next time I'll give private browsing a go, as you advised.
Thanks for you help though. Much appreciated 🙂

To be honest that Preview function has been ' dodgy' for years.
If it happens to you again, just check and double check your listing, when listed, it should come out exactly how you've written it.
If not, there's time to immediately revise anything.
This does not apply to Classified ads once those are listed nothing can be changed.

Thanks for that
Yep, I'm technically proficient, but sometimes the short fuse kicks in 🙂
Brave seems to have issues with other sites too. Might have to use Nyxt browser next time. Oddly, that seems to work when others fail. Weird!

Or Chromium, which is Chrome without the evil bits that Google put in.
Like @tbontb1900 I'm a big fan of Linux, I use Mint mostly, but also Debian and other versions. For browsing I use Firefox, which of course is popular also on Windows and Mac and I find works well enough with ebay except on the frequent occasions when ebay let the kiddies in the 'tech team' make untested changes.
I would never have ANY system where I didn't have at least one spare web browser installed, in case of problems. No Windows user should be relying on Edge alone.
