Business account sold 12 items in 15 years

Why do I need a business account when I have sold 12 items in 15 years?

Is there a way of  contacting  a real person about this as the AI chat is not helpful

I have received the same message and I am only selling a few unwanted items in my doll collection every 2 or 3 weeks when there is a 70% off seller fees promotion.

I am actually losing money on them if you compare the price sold to the price paid!  Average sale price of item is around £5 to £9 and I'm lucky if I sell a couple!  There is no way that I should have a business account.

Possibly because you haven't sold anything recently?  Ebay seems to be a law unto itself - I know that HMRC now requires details of ebay sales but I'm nowhere near that limit and am not making a profit.  I think I'll just stop selling on Ebay as I've only about 20 items left to sell and it's just too much hassle for the amounts earned!

people who have sold nothing are being told the same thing - i suspect this is a bug

I have been waiting for a reduced fee offer before I list anything.  I have only sold  items which were unwanted bits that I no longer needed , NOT items that I have purchased to resell.

You appear to be doing the same decluttering  of personal items but there does seem to be a lot of sellers running a small business - buying stuff to resell
