Earlier this year we launched the beta version of a new messaging experience in the eBay mobile app. In the coming weeks, you’ll be moved to the new experience, which will better connect you to your buyers and make it easier for you to manage your messages.

I hate this new messaging service it looks like a phone app. I use my laptop PC for all activities I do on ebay as it is much easier and find the phone app hard to navigate and so to find my messages looking like they are on my phone is most upsetting.

Absolute nightmare trying to contact eBay. 

 

Have used chatbot that doesn't answer any questions and doesn't put you through to a human assistant. 

Have filled in contact forms and requested a copy be sent to me. - Nothing has arrived in my inbox and, it aappears, nothing sent to ebay.

Have finally made contact withsomeone at customer services and they have given me contact email sddress - only to find the emails get returned as unmanned and told to use https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/home 

 

Going round in circles trying to get anywhere!

 

A simple way to contact a human that could resolve problems would be much appreciated.

And you think this is a better experience??!! It is an absolute dogs dinner with widespread condemnation but you never listen to sellers anyway so what is the point of voicing an opinion? You make changes for the sake of making changes and have absolutely no idea how frustrating this is for sellers yet you continue to steamroller ahead, leading to exasperated sellers deciding that enough is enough and leave eBay completely. You have lost literally millions of active sellers in the last few years and yet you continue to ignore us so you reap what you sow. The way you treat sellers is disgusting!!!

Seriously, what are you all moaning about? 😂 eBay have objectively improved it. You want to have to click 10 different messages to read the thread?! Now it's 1 click and you can read the whole conversation - FAR better! Get real people!!
