Ebay sends buyers an Invoice as soon as an item is sold and a reminder on Day 3. There is no harm in waiting for payment so long as you are not Using Unpaid Assistant. I would suggest that you get a date for payment, and not leave it open ended so that it drags on and on.

If so, and you're happy to wait for payment you can hang on for a few days.
