signin.ebay.co.uk refused to connect.

Please help.
Ebay is continually asking me to sign in and verify. It even did so half way through making this post.
If I try to list, I can't - I just get the message, "signin.ebay.co.uk refused to connect."
Is this a glitch? (It's been doing it for a week, since I re-activated my shop in order to start working/listing again)

What browser are you using has to be the first question. 

Then the next question is have you cleared both your cache and cookies. 

Have you got any aware or spyware progs installed.. These could be registering a false negative. 

I suspect its possibly a browser problem. 

I use Opera, and touch wood have never had a problem.

I use chrome, and have avg. I have cleared cache, cookies etc.
Everything is the same as it has always been in the many years I have used ebay.
I have only had this problem since starting up again after a covid-break.
I shall look into using a different browser.

Chrome is usually fine. But if you want to try another browser, I recommend Firefox.
