When an item is bought and paid for eBay automatically take fees from the transaction so why do we also have a monthly invoice? Since managed payments have come about my fees have rocketed.On £1500 i pay £300 PLUS a monthly invoice of £100! Can someone explain why after taking fees at the point of the buyer paying why i also have a monthly invoice?

the fees taken straight away are the final value and processing fees,
the monthly invoice is for your insertion fees and any subscriptions you may have
