I sold a beautiful guitar to this guy . He asked lots of detailed and a bit odd questions before the sale ..... he finally bought the guitar and I packed it excellently........and sent it parcelforce today the guy sent this ++ I have received the guitar today. The box was in good conditions, undamaged. When I opened the case, I discovered there is a huge crack on the bottom side of the guitar and the soundboard. This was no accurately described in the listing and the guitar fitted really tight in the hard case so I doubt it may have been a consequence of the shipping. It's not the first guitar I get delivered with Royal Mail and I didn't have issues before even with a worst packaging. ++ he is accusing me of a false listing . is there any counter action or recommendations. Can I still get paid via paypal, or do I NEED to add a bank account to get paid if I sell something on ebay? I put payment managed by ebay instead of cash on collection, since it's a virtual account for a game.

On February 11 I sold an Amazon evoucher worth £25 to an ebay member who later proved to be a fraudster as he purchased the item from me, made an "unauthorised transaction" claim and Paypal naively believed the buyer. Because I could not appeal the decision, I have made a complaint (I doubt it will solve the issue but I gave it a go nonetheless). Because this con buyer didn't open the case on eBay, the latter is very unlikely to do anything either. Has anyone ever experienced anything like that? Any advice?

Hi, a customer has contacted me claiming they haven't received their order. They haven't opened a ticket yet and said they would wait a bit longer. I posted Royal Mail 2nd class (not tracked due to low value of item), I've checked my proof of postage on RM's site and it says it was delivered. This is the first problem i've had since selling on ebay. Some guidance would be appreciated. I assume Royal Mail wont compensate me because they have delivered? Would ebay rule in my favour? But I assume Paypal would still refund the buyer as I've not sent it tracked or is my proof of delivery by Royal Mail good enough? Sorry if this question is asked a lot. Thanks Brian

Hi I need a little help if possible, I sold a bracelet and the customer claims she cannot fasten it so she has put a return request in saying it's unfit for purpose! She says there is nothing damaged it's fiddly to put on and she cannot do it. Not sure where I stand if I let eBay sort it as messages back and forth to her have done nothing as I refused to send her the go ahead and return postage. I feel she is being unreasonable as it's a brand new bracelet and it's not broken.

Ebay has removed my t-shirt listing stating it fake when it is not. Its genuine in original packaging with tags. Was a unwanted gift so no receipt. Says all of the correct details with pictures showing tags, packet etc so what do i do now? Any help appreciated.

I'd like to sell a few things on ebay but even tho i don't have to offer PayPal as payment i still need a PayPal account . is this something that is being changed? I don't use Paypal, so cant list on ebay at present. I used to have an online shop and for issues with them in past i refuse to be a customer to them... I was pleased to hear ebay are starting not to use PayPal as a back bone and doing direct payments through banks (about time) . currently i use ebay solely for buying and any problems have been handled well via ebays process. I believe their rolling out changes over the year and know that they have been told they've begun sending sale payment direct to bank of sellers for some.....
