I am trying tp list my surgical masks however it wont let me due price gouging however if i do search there lots of suppliers with the same item if this was the case how are they allowed to list all of there prices differs from to anotherso where is the differance

is that not price gouging i only want to list at sellable price not to gouge how do i go about get this done if possible any help is most appreciated

You have asked for advice because you are trying to sell fashion masks as Covi19 protection masks. 

If these are fashion masks then the category is correct. 

But as your item description leans heavily on Covid 19 it is obvious you have decided to list in a incorrect category in order to by pass your inability to list in the correct category.

Well if you request approval from eBay and they see you are selling face masks and that you are deliberately listing under the incorrect category of “Fancy Dress & Period Costumes” to get around eBay rules you won't have a chance, except to have your account restricted.

You leave buyers in no doubt of your claim that they are protection from the virus by stating “those that do not wear face masks risk a fine of up to £100. Protect yourself and others.”

Yet the packages are marked “Fashion Mask. Non-Medical”

you do realise you are putting lives at danger?

thank you for your comments just to clarify that we sell proper surgical masks with all the certificates they is no chance of endangering anyone's life far from it we are all about keeping safe,also these masks are being produced for MOD for one of the EU countries i have this is a better explanation and has cleared any misunderstanding regarding our product all we wanted to do was to list as others buyers have done.

we also wanted to list our range of fashion face covering these are the ones that are handmade with double protection washable with and with filters again this product is for keeping safe and not just a fashion item.

I am wishing to sell my masks too and they were originally manufactured for a medical company in Wolverhampton who have since gone bust. The masks I have are being sold in auction by John Pye auctions on behalf of the administrators. So these masks were subject to all import duties for the original buyers Medical devices technology in Wolverhampton

It is unlikely that you will get permission and might wish to reconsider your current listings as you are not pre approved.
