how long until increased selling limit appears on account

I have requested an increased selling limit, which the page said my limit has now been increased to £X, however when I go to list an item it is still stopping me due to lower selling limit £Y, and then directing me to increase limit again. I click increase limit and it is giving me the same pop up saying we have increased your limit to £X.

You can only request a higher selling limit once a month.

Once granted,  it is usually applied at the start of the following month,  so yours will be able to be used,  from the 1st September.
