Who really cares, as so few watchers ever turn into bidders it would be better not to know.

watchers are watchers,bidders are bidders and buyers can be watchers and/or bidders but only those that pay become buyers.

Watchers don't always mean very much.Iv'e bid and won many items that have had 100's of watchers but items ended with less than 10 bids with only 4 or 5 different bidders.

watch count works for both auctions and bins.

ebay adds the number of watchers to Buy it now listings, they don't add it to auction style listings
