Ebays customer service deliberatly wind up customers...I repeat...DELIBRATLY...wind up customers to entertain themselves.
Problem is CS are not UK based, so there is a language barrier & they often read from script.

In light of what you've just said should you ever need to contact eBay Customer Services for any reason then your best chance of getting through to somebody who can speak fluent English to the point whereby he/she sounds as though English is actually his/her first language would be to contact eBay Customer Services via the Call Me Back option early on in the morning. If you decided to take this advice and requested a call back early on in the morning then you would stand a far better chance of being able to get a telephone call from an eBay representative who actually speaks English as his/her first language! Lines open from 8:00am and close at 10:00pm, so get in quick and use the Call Me Back option sometime between 8:00am and 9:00am in the morning. That way there's less chance that you'll have to struggle to explain yourself to somebody who sounds as though he/she is having extreme difficulty in understanding even the most basic level of English, in which case your next call to eBay Customer Services may not be as frustrating as the call which prompted you to start this thread.
This is the Answer Centre. If you have a question, someone will be happy to help. If not, the place to discuss issues (or to rant...!) is Seller Central in the Discussion forums.
can you explain what has actually happened?
