does anyone know how to report someone who is clearly trying to scam a purchase i.e. a rogue buyer

Hi, twice in the last week Ive had two different buyers try to scam me by trying to get me to engage outside of eBay by providing my email address.  I've thought it odd and refused to continue but how do I report the buyer?  I can only find how to do it if they've actually boufght but in these cases the buyer is trying to get my private info/use someleses account.

These 'buyers' are not regular buyers. They are criminal gangs trying to get hold of your PayPal email addy so that they can send you fake payment confirmation emails purporting to be from PayPal. These gangs trawl the internet looking for sellers of high-value items. Just ignore their messages and delete.

I see that most of your items are for personal collection only. As such, payment should only be accepted by you in cash or by bank transfer, once the buyer has fully examined the item and is happy with it. PayPal is unsafe for collection items, for both parties but especially for sellers - you will have no proof of posting receipt to contest an Unauthorised Account Use claim, and this is the only thing a payment processor will accept for such a claim.
