buyer wanted me to cancel bid 20 mins before auction ends

I have just been asked by a buyer to cancel his bid 20 mins before the end of the auction Says he can't afford the item . He had placed an automatic bid was placed 6 days ago . What is your veiws on this ?

But do I lose a point for cancelling ? This happened a while ago ,I informed a buyer that I found damage on an item and he declined it . I cancelled the sale and received a transaction defect ! Plus he left feed back for an item not purchased !

If you cancelled the bids before the auction ended it has not affect on your account. If the auction ended with that buyer winning you can issue a cancellation using the reason "Buyer asked to cancel". As long as the buyer agrees to the email they'll receive that has no affect on your account either.
