alter listings to out of stock

I'm going into hospital for a week. I had an online conversation with ebay where they said I could, with a couple of clicks alter all my listings to 'out of stock.' They talked me through it and seems easy enough.

When I get back to selling, do I have to go through my listings one by one and alter manually the quantity available?

I've tried to alter just one of my listings to out of stock, but can't find how.

I do not have an ebay shop, so can't use 'seller is away' thing.

go to:-

my ebay >>> account tab >>> site preferences >>> out of stock

once you have activated this option you can then revise your listings using bulk edit to show zero available, your selling will then be 'paused' for up to 180 days,

just bear in mind you will be charged listing fees every month and the listings will be removed completely after 180 days unless you relist before that time

you will have to revise the listings back to their available stock levels one by one when you are ready.
