Zero selling limit on personal account

Hi,

 

I have a personal selling account, and yet my limit is set as 0 which means I can't sell anything! I've been going round and round in circles trying to increase it (it won't let me), and to work out why (have read a few things but they all seem to relate to business accounts, and mine is definitely a personal account as I checked my settings, so I'm none the wiser).

 

A few years ago when I started the account I listed an item that never sold, then when I tried to list another I had so many problems that I eventually gave up and I'm only just trying again now. I seem to remember back then that I may have had an issue with my paypal account, but that is now all up to date and accurate so I don't think that can be the problem now?

 

I feel like I need to speak to someone at ebay but I can't find a phone number that gets through to a human, or even an instant chat option. I'm remembering why I gave up trying last time!

 

Please can anyone help?? I feel like I'm going crazy!!

If you want to speak to somebody at eBay Customer Service click on the Help & Contact link that appears at both the top and the bottom of this page.  Upon clicking the link a new page will load up.  Scroll right down to the bottom of the page and look for the mobile phone icon that appears beneath the words "Need more help?  Have us call you."  Click on the mobile phone icon and you should receive a call from eBay Customer Service, at which point you can explain what's gone wrong.  With a bit of luck the person you're speaking with may be able to work out what's gone wrong and either fix the problem for you, or in the event that you need to provide eBay with any additional information in order to get your selling account working properly, then they should be able to tell you what information you need to provide them with so as to resolve the problem.

It sounds as if you need to link or relink your PayPal account. I believe you need to do that in both Ebay and PayPal accounts.

 

If you continue to have problems, Help & Contact is at top and foot of any page. You can't currently phone Ebay (Covid staff shortgaes), but Live Chat and Request-a-Callback are available.
