VAT for selling in EU and UK

We are located in Bulgaria and sell in ebay.co.uk and today i saw that all my ads are with added VAT?If for example someone from Slovenia want to buy some of my items he must pay VAT and ebay will take this VAT and pay to UK but item that i sell is from Bulgaria to Slovenia and doesn't leave EU i think that this is very stupid.Could you tell me how to avoid that?

By being registered on the UK site, you're subject to UK laws, which now include the collection of VAT on imports of less than £135 at POS (Point Of Sale).  I'm not sure why you think that is 'stupid'...?

As far as I'm aware, the only way to deal with this is by closing your UK account, and then registering on ebay.com (which is where you should have registered in the first place).  But contact Ebay CS to see if you can change your country of registration on this account (I don't know if that's possible or not).  Live Chat and request-a-callback are available in Help & Contact during working hours.

I would also advise you to contact HMRC and the Bulgarian tax authorities - they are the people to ask for full and accurate advice and information.
