I made 4 new listings in the last two days and two of them display "Click and Collect" as a delivery option which makes no sense as I am an individual selling unwanted personal items. I can't figure out where and when I was given the opportunity to select this option at any stage of the listing process. Does anyone know where this comes from please?
Thanks
Stuart
If you set your listings up using the Advanced Selling Form you can do far more with it than if you only using the basic selling form, and there is also the added bonus of the fact that eBay do not tamper with listings created using the Advanced Selling Template and change various aspects of the listing without the seller's consent. If you opt out of the Click & Collect scheme if you do not want to be a part of it and then set up a presaved template using the Advanced Selling Form then whenever you list any similar items for sale you can just use that presaved template to speed up the listing of your items. All you'd need to do would be to delete the original shots and item description and replace them with photos of the latest item being listed, as well as an item description written specifically for that listing. All of the information provided in the Item Specifics fields would automatically be carried across from the presaved template, so you wouldn't have to type them all in again from scratch every single time. You can, however, update the Item Specifics by manually typing over the existing text as and when necessary, although if you want to updated information to remain then you would need to save the template again so as not to lose the updates. You can have as many presaved templates as you want for all of the different items that you want to list, so make the most of them.
