Someone is using other peoples ID, setting up accounts to negatively impact listings

Just before Christmas someone made an offer on an expensive item and then didn't pay (vasro 18). I believe this is the same person who did the same thing sometime ago using different ID. I opened a dispute both times and closed and received refund.

On 7th Jan an offer was made on the same item once it was relisted, I accepted and again no payment. I have opened an unpaid item dispute. The thing is that their account (antrad 36) was only opened on 7th Jan with zero sales, feedback etc.

Just before Christmas I messaged vasro 18 asking them politely to please pay for the item as I was selling it to help a young family who's mother had recently died of Cancer (my sister in law).

I received no reply. Yesterday I receive a message from antrad 36 saying "So sorry, I'm in hospital, Ive got cancer." I find it hard to believe that someone about to go into hospital for Cancer treatment would the same day, set up an ebay account, then offer £300 for a radio controlled helicopter. Then not pay. This is obviously the same person with yet another fake account being used to negatively impact my listing and mock me over the death of a family member in a very cruel way. The person who's name and postcode they have used for their account seems fine on facebook. This has to stop.

Why haven't you blocked them then. If you think it is the same member or a newly opened account which looks suspicious then add to Blocked Bidders List.

No point in messaging non payers, just go the unpaid route, better they do not pay than open a Not As Described Case which just leaves you paying return postage and paypal fees.

I see that you are listing at £350 and plan to post by Parcelforce 48. Do you really think that £100 compensation is adequate. If lost or damaged you have to refund in full, but the maximum compensation would be £100  if your claim was accepted, or £0 if claim rejected..
