Royal Mail delivery delays

I am having horrendous delivery problems with Royal Mail, second class items taking over a week to be delivered. Special Deliveries are taking 3 days 

Anybody else having these problems

it appears to be regional in differences. i`ve been buying off here since march and whilst the first month of lockdown was a little slower, after that it got pretty much back to normal, but i have noticed over the last month(ish), second class stuff is taking nearly a week, but i`ve had other stuff turn up either next day or within 48hrs, bare in mind though now, that christmas on top of other issues, is going to affect delivery times now.

I have withdrawn all but one of my sale items as i cannot trust Royal Mail to deliver at the moment. Items are taking over 10 working day from posting and still not delivered. I am having buyers now saying they have not received the item and checking RM tracking (RMSF) it has not been delivered.. I will now wait until next year before selling again

Ebay will be losing a large sum of money if many other sellers do the same.

I am only selling if its a RMSD sale item. A chance of being delivered then. But lately ALL my RMSD items have been delivered late and RM have refunded me the postage. Not good selling point for RM Alex
