Refunded twice to buyer?

I sold item to buyer, item got lost in postage so he asked eBay to step in and eBay ruled to his favour. Now, full amount from PayPal -  300GBP is refundedto him. But problem is that eBay is asking for 300 GBP for a redund that I clicked and paid. Now my credit card is charged with 300 GBP for a refund and 300 GBP I got from buyer is also refunded to him!? What should I do?

Apart from going to the correct ebay site, you can hope that the buyer will refund you, or you can send a Paypal Request for Payment.

You must alwaysdeal with any case opened and refund through the case, if you refund another way ebay does not recognise the refund and if they are asked to step in a second refund will be made. In addition to that you still pay the selling fee.

I did refund through the case on eBay manually via Pay button on eBay resolution center. Problem is that buyer paid via PayPal and there is no money on PayPal as it states for that transaction as refunded.

This is the UK site, you are based in Croatia and registered in US, best to log out and back into your registered site

but it looks as if you ignored the case, seeing that he asked eBay to step in...you should have refunded via the case and not through PayPal.... that is how it works on the UK site...

I am using eBay UK for everything - I don't remember maybe I did registered first with eBay.com...

I didn't ignore the case, I provided the tracking number and item never reached the UK so he asked eBay to step in to help. I didn't refund via PayPal but next to that transaction there is " Refunded - Payment received" and there is no money. Buyer paid via PayPal. I did refund via eBay.co.uk link in Resolution center.

Also is there any way to contact eBay to ask about this?

Also, when he opened eBay case PayPal moved 300 GBP from available to pending balance. Now there is no available or pending money on PayPal and I was charged 300 GBP on my credit card.

I've read your post several times now, and I'm still confused. Ebay and PayPal can't refund a buyer twice. If Ebay forced the refund when the buyer escalated the case to them, that would have automatically closed the case; that would be the end of it. So why did you then 'click and pay' when Ebay had already forced the refund...? And where and how did you 'click and pay'...?

You need to provide more details so that we can understand exactly what has happened and what you did.

After eBay decided in the buyer's favour there was Pay to eBay button on resolution center that I clicked and entered my credit card details. Now it says "£ 300.00 of the reimbursement amount has been paid." but I was hoping that 300 GBP will be on my PayPal, but no...

I've never come across anything like you describe. But this is the UK site and you're in Croatia. That means you're registered on ebay.com, where things may work differently and where you should be asking this question. So log out, and back into ebay.com and ask your question in the forums over there.
