I used to sell a surprising amount of camera equipment to Europe but since Brexit this has now stopped.
Is it because VAT is now been added to the salea value?

VAT is nothing to do with Brexit, it was decided some years ago, it is not just the UK, the rest of Europe start on the 1st July.
I imagine we started early to get all changes dealt with in one go.
